i had no problem configuring kde with the control center, or whatever it is called, but any programs that depend on gtk have some (what i can only guess) default colors, but some kde colors (such as the progress bar and text highlight colors).

i don't, but i am running pkg_add to get it. it's nice that it has about 8,000 dependencies. :P

and not only that, since youre running KDE and not gnome it wont work properly, but it will be able to change your color scheme, and also your gtk themes.

itll be easier this way, but its better to edit the config files by hand when you find them.

kde should have a built in gtk configurator type thing.

i actually get an error when i run the program, but i'll work on that myself. this is enough to get me in the right direction. thanks a ton.
