For me this is a novice's question about executing a program at scheduled date/time, and the given answers (minus spelling/typos...) are correct:

do a crontab -e

to open the crontab file.

execute

crontab -l > crontab

edit crontab with some type of text editor (vi).
add a line at the end like this:

0 8 * * 6 solevel > /dev/null 2>&1

execute

cron crontab

to have the new commands take effect

you'll most likely want to replace solevel with the the full path to the command, ie /usr/bin/solevel and you'll want to change the output to actually go somewhere useful instead of the trash bucket.
