stty (urgent)

Hello all,
In the .profile of my account on Tru64 UNIX,there is a command

stty dec [something]

In the man pages,it is specified that dec sets all modes suitable for terminals supplied by Digital Equipment Corporation.

I am porting a software from Compaq to HP i want to use the same .profile file on HP. pls tell me if there is any alternative for 'dec' on HP.

this is very urgent...pls help...
thanks in advance....

Hi Dear Shilpa
Use stty hp on HPUX machine and add ifdef HPUX sort of condition to set according to OS.
Happy Porting
