hi all,
I'm trying to make a script in ksh,
It's almost done...I just need help for a line that doesn't work...here it is:
print -p ELENCO=`ls air*`

and here's in the script

HOST=hostname
USER=user
PASSWD=pass
cd /usr1/tmp/prova/
exec 4>&1
ftp -nv >&4 2>&4 |&
print -p open $HOST
print -p user $USER $PASSWD
print -p binary
print -p cd /elio/files/
print -p ELENCO=`ls air*`
for job2 in $ELENCO ; do
print -p get $job2
done
print -p bye
quit
!

p.s. the intention of the script is putting in a variable all the files matching a condition in a certain directory...i tryed to do the same in "inverse" with put instead of get with the variable declared outside of the ftp (with export) and it works perfectly...so i think the only problem is that
