I have a requirement in which i will be given a sql query as input in a file with dynamic number of columns. For example some times i will get 5 columns, some times 8 columns etc up to 20 columns.

I'm sharing this in case anybody needs it. Modified from the original solaris pwage script. This modified hpux script will check /etc/password file on hpux trusted systems search /tcb and grep the required u_succhg field. Calculate days to expiry and notify users via email.

I have 2 HPUX machines. Let say machine A and B. In HPUX machine A, I would like to ping the port number of machine B. Is there any command or any HPUX freeware available?

DESCRIPTION
matchbox-remote connects to a running matchbox-window-manager process to get information about its state or send it instructions.
