Question Connecting Solaris from Window OS

Hi Experts,

Recently I've purchased on laptop in which Window's Vista is the OS they have installed. With one of my friends help I've installed Solaris 10 using VMware. Both are working fine.

Now I want to use putty to connect to Solaris from Windows OS. Also I want to use Ultraedit to open Solaris files (which I've created). Is it possible? Smilie

Could any of you help me please... I really appreciate your any answers in this regard.

Thanks in advance / Lokesha R (Mysore Ganapati).

use a shared filesystem (fat32; can be accessed from both os) or connect from solaris to windows via samba. so you should be able to exchange and edit files...

i see no problems for using putty? works fine for me....
