OK guys it is working now. Thanks to everyone for their support.

Not that anyone else is going to have this much trouble, but here is what I did:

I wired a cat5 cable with these pin outs

One end of the cable wired as:
Pin (end 1) Colour
1 White/Orange
2 Orange
3 White/Green
4 Blue
5 White/Blue
6 Green
7 White/Brown
8 Brown


And the other as:

Pin (end 2) Colour
1 Brown
2 White/Brown
3 Green
4 Blue
5 White/Blue
6 White/Green
7 Orange
8 White/Orange


Then connected using mrpakchong's:

Put the cable between port B(seriel) server1 and port A(seriel) server2

check that you have line "cuab:dv=/dev/cua/b:br#9600" in /etc/remote then you should be able todo tip

unix% tip cuab

I have the solution I was looking for. I might play around and try to get tip hardwire working too.

for "hardwire" you need the arguments you use for the "cuab" line on the hardwire line... thats all!
