Hello,
I'm trying to apply the patch on Solaris 9 :
Code:
$/jac/update$ patchadd ./112945-46
Checking installed patches...
One or more patch packages included in
112945-46 are not installed on this system.
Patchadd is terminating.
The error message is not really talkative so I had a look and the patchadd script and it looks like it checks if any of the softwares that need to be patched are installed. If none of them is installed, it prints this error.

Ok, I attempted to apply a patch to a V440 and it bailed part way through. When I tried to patchrm the patch (after booting from CD), patchrm said that I had to fully install the failed patch before I could delete it.
