One last thing..I know it's pretty straight forward but I'm little bit confused about your comment

Do you mean to say I can install sol9 from sol10 DVD.(seems unlikely to me)

No, what I meant was each major release of Solaris has a number of minor releases, so there are a number of different releases of Solaris 10, the first of which would install with 192Mb of RAM on a i386.

You need to acquire the installation media for Solaris 9 for i386.
