It's Me Again,
I must confess. I was an HP Unix Admin 4.5 years ago, but haven't seen nor touch anything Unix in that time. Well I am back in grad school and working with a prof. doing some Unix Administration for his class, so I am more than a little rusty...and I am working on Solaris Unix, which doesn't seem to be that different, but.... Here is my questions:
I would like to ftp from home ever now and again to transfer files, but I can't remember what files to change to allow my home box access. How do I do that?
Could use a good "beginner's book" if you know of any. I have gotten at least 3 books from the library and they were usually more advanced and the "Dummie" series was to elementary. Do you know of any?
I am using Putty to login, but Putty doesn't allow file transfers..I don't think?
Help!
