thanks ...for your help ...if that is a scsi connection...cfgam -l can see them too?(sorry again where is dmesg located?Smilie)

yes by cfgadm -l you can see the scsi connection too ,it will show you the controller where disk is attached some like below

Hi Guys,

Sorry for trouble again...Out of dmesg ...If there is any other files or log having information of if the attached device was detacted by OS...??

demsg is not to find the devices attached to your system or not. Its more to do with the diagnostic message to form log .

If you want to find any detail related with device you can execute the command
