TimeZone will be fixed for Egypt

Hi,
The Egyptian government declared in 2011 that the timezone for Egypt will be +2GMT during the whole year & the DST will be disabled.

I need a patch to install it prevent the system to change to change the timezone in April & Sept.

root@pcs1alex1> uname -a
SunOS pcs1alex1 5.10 Generic_137111-08 sun4v sparc SUNW,Netra-T5220

Where do you normally set the timezone. Is it still /etc/timezone? It's been too long since I had a Solaris box to play with. I think you can just code it in there. Don't code the DST part and it should just remain fixed all year.

Check out the manual page for the TZ section here. Man Page for environ (opensolaris Section 5) - The UNIX and Linux Forums

I hope that this helps
