Kernel and OS patching

Hi,

I just want to know, is there any difference between Kernal patching and OS patching in solaris/linux

Yes there is. OS patching may not necessarily include kernel patching. For example an OS utility may just be patched. Kernel patching is just that.

Kernel panic - not syncing: cannot execute a PAE-enabled kernel on PAE-less CPU

ok so I just installed fedora core 6 on my dell inspiron 700m and I go to boot into linux and I get this error. Has anyone seen this before?
