Ping with timestamp
Hi,

Is there any way to use a ping utility in Solaris with timestamp is printed? I've found a few tools on windows where we can ping with timestamp, but I'm not sure with Solaris.

       -D     Print timestamp (unix time + microseconds as in gettimeofday) before each line

Ooops, that's gnu ping, I didn't get here from the forum but from the recent activity panel.

So, on Solaris install gnu ping and run it with the -D option.

Edit: Nevermind. It won't increment the time on each iteration; Better to use bartus11's suggestion. Smilie
