Solaris

this is my problem i ended up with open solaris op system because i got a virus on my system and wiped out my windows os and i was advised that open solaris runs on my system so i installed it but its to complicated for me to use so i came across a program called wine that lets you run windows progams on solaris and would make i easy for me to use insted of learning all the code i have to type in to the terminal just to get things to install and run can you help me install wine and run it as i had help from another user but his info was quite had to follow because im a new user step by step would be so much simpler for me could any one plz help?

Can you explain what jlliagre suggested you to do that is hard to follow
His last suggestion was to make the exe files you want to run available to Solaris.
That means that you should e.g. mount a harddisk or usbstick, assuming the exe files are stored there and then run wine.
Btw. I doubt that you will be happy with Solaris, since it looks like you expect it to be like Windows.
However you should definitely try Wine, but again, I doubt you will get (all) your games to work there.
In conclusion I have to say that such sudden OS change is no good idea, especially if you're complete new to UNIX.
