Ampliar filesystem
Hola

Necesito ampliar un filesystem que se lleno, pero tengo entendido que para esto necesito un administrador de volumenes ya sea SVM o VVM. tengo instalado solaris 10 pero le doy un metastat y me dice que no hay ninguna base de datos, como si en la instalación no hubieran atachado los sudmirrors.

Puedo ampliar un filesystem sin administrador de volumenes?

Como verifico si mi solaris 10 tiene el Solaris Volume manager?

Que comandos le doy para ampliar el filesystem?

I need extend or expand a filesystem
Hello

I need to expand a filesystem is full, but I understand that for this I need a volume manager like SVM or Veritas. I have installed solaris 10 but I give it a metastat and tells me there is no database, as if the installation does not have the sudmirrors attachments.

The filesystem that I Have is dfsk virtual Lun and I need expand with other Lun.

Can I extend a filesystem without volume manager?

Can I check if my solaris 10 is Solaris Volume manager?

which command can I write to extend the filesystem?

you can extend a file system with growfs.

sure. you pretty much already did with metastat.

Could you tell me how can I expand this file system full I dont know growfs, for example I have one filesytem full "sap" and the other filesystem "sap2" free, so can I expand maybe growfs sap sap2. with grows no lost data.?

You can do it only under certain conditions. The sap2 slice must be located contiguously and immediatly after the sap slice.

Growfs doesn't lost data in the filesystem that grows but data that might be on the slice used to grow it is lost.
