/etc/dumpdate not updating

Hi Gurus,

In one of my system /etc/dumpdates is not getting updated. I am taking the backup with ufsdump and passing the parameter -u, still it's not updating.

Can any one of you please suggest as what could be the issue

Thanks

Hi all

I got the solution f, the /etc/dumpdates is only going to be updated once you back the file system not the portion of file system. I was backing some direcotry and was assuming that the entry should be placed into /etc/dumpdates.

Thanks
