where the logs store in the sun solaris?
hi friends,

i would like to know where the logs are store in the sun solaris .

i want to know particular logs where user are executing command , editing some process,deleting some file etc,file tranfers.

I have tried editing syslog.conf file,but i am not getting the information which i require.We r using the ---Generic_137137-09 sun4v sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise-T5120

Can you please help?

the log is at /var/adm/messages. but what you want to monitor is not in syslog. what you want is auditing... have a look here:

This is very good information you have provided .

But my problem is my servers are live and can't be rebooted ,is there any other option?
