I need to upgrade the memory configuration on our T2000s to 24 Gb. I presently have 8x2Gb DIMMS in Rank 0 and 8x1Gb DIMMS in Rank 1, but the OS only recognizes 16Gb. How can I upgrade these T2000s to 24Gb? (2 Replies)

I've looked a little but haven't found a solid answer, assuming there is one.
What's better, hardware mirroring or ZFS mirroring? Common practice for us was to use the raid controllers on the Sun x86 servers. Now we've been using ZFS mirroring since U6. Any performance difference? Any other... (3 Replies)

Hello,
I wrote a script which monitor the keyswitch state repeatedly each 10 minutes.
I'm extracting the keyswitch status by using prtdiag.
The script works fine for Netra v440 , but I found that prtdiag under Netra 1290 don't give keyswitch status.

I have an issue with DNS on a solaris t2000
When I set up the zones there was an issue with the /etc/resolv.conf, I had made a typo in my DNS server.
I only noticed this after creating my new zones.

NAME
ntwdt - Netra--based application watchdog timer driver
SYNOPSIS
/dev/ntwdt
The ntwdt driver is a multithreaded, loadable, non-STREAMS pseudo driver that provides an application with an interface for controlling a
system watchdog timer.
The ntwdt driver implements a virtual watchdog timer that a privileged application (Effective UID == 0) controls via IOCTLs.
CONFIGURATION
You configure the ntwdt driver by modifying the contents of the ntwdt.conf file.
ERRORS
An open() fails if:
EPERM Effective user ID is not zero.
ENOENT /dev/ntwdt is not present or driver is not installed.
EAGAIN /dev/ntwdt has already been successfully open()'d.
