get_iplayer 1.29 (Default branch)
get_iplayer allows a user to download or stream any BBC iPlayer TV program (H.264/Quicktime), ITVplayer TV programs (ASF/WMV), iPlayer radio programs (MP3/RealAudio), and BBC podcasts (MP3/AAC). It even downloads iPlayer subtitles. It supports RTMP iPlayer downloads. It has full PVR functionality for automatic downloading. License: GNU General Public License v3 Changes:
This release adds a --fields option to allow the user to customize which program fields to search using a comma-separated list. If ".get_iplayer/" exists in the current working directory, its options file is used to override any user/system options. A --pvrqueue option has been added to allow matching programs to be added to the PVR download queue on a one-off basis. This release will only skip the current program download, and not exit, if the file already exists. A benign --comment option has been added to allow annotation of PVR searches. Image

NAME

       bbc_beep -  Platform-dependent Beep driver for BBC-based hardware.

SYNOPSIS

       beep@unit-address

DESCRIPTION

       The  bbc_beep driver generates beeps on platforms (including Sun Blade 1000) that use BBC-based registers and USB keyboards. When the KIOC-
       CMD ioctl is issued to the USB keyboard module (see usbkbm(7M)) with command KBD_CMD_BELL/KBD_CMD_NOBELL, usbkbm(7M) passes the request	to
       the bbc_beep driver to turn the beep on and off, respectively.
