GTK, which stands for the Gimp ToolKit, is a library for creating graphical user interfaces. It is designed to be small and efficient, but still flexible enough to allow the programmer freedom in the interfaces created. GTK provides some unique features over standard widget libraries.

Keyboard shortcut handling was changed to help with a long-standing complaint about the way GTK+ handles multiple layouts. GTK+ now only uses keys from groups other than the current group if they are not present in the current group. Furthermore, several bugs were fixed. Translations were updated.
