The Launcher 2.4.1 (Default branch)

Image The Launcher is an innovative GNOME panel applet or stand-alone application launcher automatically adapting to your habits. The ultimate goal is to make it possible to run any application with as few clicks as possible. This means tracking your favorite applications, and not forcing you to mark or organize them by hand. Preferences change with time, and The Launcher responds to that automatically. It delivers a simple, clean, and usable interface with advanced features like 'search as you type' and 'smart search', and requires zero configuration effort. It should be especially handy on touch screens and in keyboard-only scenarios. License: GNU General Public License v3 Changes:
Usable application categories support. A search interface update to make it less intrusive. The search panel is now hidden on startup, and appears when you press Control-F or start typing. The 'Frequently used' applications sort algorithm has been improved. The application list is now loaded from subfolders. The Launcher is no longer shown in the taskbar and pager when launched from the GNOME panel. There is a new configuration file option 'Mode'. All configuration file options can be specified on the command line using '--option[=value]' notation. There are further startup speed improvements.Image
