benerator 0.4.0 (Default branch)

benerator is a framework for creating realistic and valid high-volume test data, used for testing (unit/integration/load) and showcase setup. Metadata constraints are imported from systems and/or configuration files. Data can imported from and exported to files and systems, anonymized, or generated from scratch. Domain packages provide reusable generators for creating domain-specific data such as names and addresses, internationalizable in language and region. benerator is strongly customizable with plugins and configuration options. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes:
benerator now incorporates mature and comfortable generation capabilities for relational data, providing convenient database configuration and primary key generation, script support in generators and all import file formats, as well as a staging concept. Especially the script feature is a great improvement in generating randomized data with multi-field constraints. Furthermore, central concepts were extended for generation of hierarchical data, like dependent data in databases or nested data structures like XML.Image

NAME
Test::Unit::Runner::Terminal - unit testing framework helper class SYNOPSIS
use Test::Unit::Runner::Terminal; my $testrunner = Test::Unit::Runner::Terminal->new(); $testrunner->start($my_test_class); DESCRIPTION
This class is a test runner for the command line style use of the testing framework. It is similar to its parent class, Test::Unit::TestRunner, but it uses terminal escape sequences to continually update a more informative status report as the runner progresses through the tests than just a string of dots, E's and F's. The status report indicates the number of tests run, the number of failures and errors encountered, which test is currently being run, and where it lives in the suite hierarchy. The class needs one argument, which is the name of the class encapsulating the tests to be run. OPTIONS
