Unix import
Hi all,

I want to write a shell script for-

it should import the directory which is zipped from My client machine which is Windows to the server which is Unix. Now I want to unzip the dir and use the file in Unix server itself.

Can anyone share their idea on this ? What shall be done ? FTP ?

Is it possible to do reverse ?

I mean I want to do FTP from Windows client, to Unix server. But can I do import of file by opening FTP in Unix and get file from Windows Client ?


And if we can do what to give after ftp>open

when I give my System IP to get connected it gives connection fail.
