This was pretty close. The 'sort' expressions didn't quite do it, since the last row was deleted.
I've decided to delete the header rows as purposed in a previous post, and could therefore remove the 'sort' part of your code.

When studding my input files, I see that there will be different ways of parting each column (number of spaces and tabs).
Therefore it would be better if I could get the 'Date' in the in a new column in front of each row.
I've been browsing around in the forum for a while, but have a real hard time understanding the 'awk' (as for the rest of shell scripting Smilie )
