You would have to use the name found in the configuration for this. Try:-
Code:
grep DS /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

Hopefully you will get suitable output. Replace your-relay-server with whatever immediately follows the DS. For me, the output is:-
Code:
DSu-lpl-relay-01

... so I ran the the telnet to u-lpl-relay-01.

I haven't got a Solaris server available to confirm this on, so hopefully I'm going in the right direction.

Okay, so you do not have an outbound mail relay or router defined. You may need to talk to your mail team about where to direct traffic.

What do you see as output from the mailq command?

mailq command gives me

Hi mail is probably not configured in the DEV environemnt.
I tried to run your commands in QA environment and it is working fine.

Can you tell me what and how to configure my company mail in DEV.
