TCSH IF syntax issue

Hi All,

I'm trying to write a simple if statement in TCSH and I honestly can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've played around with all sorts of permutations of syntax.

Code:
if ($DESKTOP_SESSION == "kde") then
	replace "forceFontDPI=0" "forceFontDPI=96" -- /home/$USER/.kde/share/config/kcmfonts
	echo "DPI settings have been fixed since you are running KDE."
endif

That block of code results in the following error:
2: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting "then")

I'm new at shell scripting, especially to TCSH but from what I've read that should work.
