You must be kidding! On top of what pamu said, post your homework in the respective forum!

script 1

grep - find all users 500 + and "home" in directories
output users to file
cat pipe - send file to script 2

script 2

get INPUT
while data in INPUT
sed - change "home" to "away" in INPUT
Place in OUTPUT

sed - search for INPUT line in Password file
Change to OUTPUT
OUTPUT to temp file
COPY temp file over password
GET INPUT
end while
