awk print
Hi Team,

Can you please help me in this issue.

Am writing a shell script for checking diskspace in LINUX server. It's old server.

For example see my filesystem below:

if i try to give this command in shell scripting. Am getting this issue. Please help me to resolve this issue.

$df -b | grep -v Use | grep -v none | awk '{ print $5 }'

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Replace existing awk program with:

awk '{ gsub(/.*: |Kbytes.*/,x); print } '

OR
Code:
awk '{ gsub(/.*: |Kbytes.*/,x) } 1'

OR
Code:
awk '{ gsub(/.*: |[a-zA-Z]*/,x) } 1'

How do I get awk to print a " in it's print part?

The line is simple, use " '{ print $1"]"$2"\"$3THE " NEEDS TO GO HERE$4 }' I've tried \", "\, ^" and '"" but none of it works. What am I missing? Putting in the [ between $1 and $2 works fine, I just need to do the same with a ". Thanks. (2 Replies)
