removing characters from url response

given an output like the above, how can i remove every meaningless character from it so that only words and numbers remain.

characters such as "<>/" etc

os: linux / sunos

sed 's/[<>/]//g' or you may use tr too: tr -d '<>/'

This splits group using , and do not split inforation that belongs together.
