You could do this a lot more efficiently with gawk if you had it, since it wouldn't mean running date 10,000 times to check 10,000 lines. But this appears to work.

Code:
#!/bin/bash

set -- `tail -n 1 data`
LAST=$(date +%s -d "$6 $7 $8")

while read LINE
do
        set -- $LINE
        CUR=$(date +%s -d "$6 $7 $8")

        [ "$((LAST-CUR))" -ge $((60*60*24*7*5)) ] || continue
        echo "$2"
done < data

Thanks for your help on this. I was able to get yours to work, and the other one. So, now I have 2 ways to accomplish what I wanted. Thanks again!
