Hi Friends,

need to copy the folder from server1 to server2 below named folder with modification date

server1
----------------
Created date Name
19Aug folder1 (contain sub directories also)
20Aug folder2 (contain sub directories also)
21Aug folder2 (contain sub directories also)
21Aug folder2 (contain sub directories also)

requirement: Every day server geting generated one folder like 19 and 20 aug in server1. we need to copy last modified datewise folder. but now i want ot copy those 2 directories from server1 for 21 aug. now i want to copy those two folder i,e 21 aug folder.

Please help immediately

You can user rsync for the file copying...

and for automated script with the help of date create one variable and use that variable to move that file....
