Checking for print with script.

Hi!
During work as Oracle sysadmin. I need to print output of Oracle report (text mode) without first page. Into this page user has printed parameters of this report.
My idea was check number of page breaks by running ->
Code:
grep -i $'^\f'  <file name>  | wc -l

and send to printer parameter according with recieved number
Code:
-o page-ranges=2-${number_page_break}

Who can advice me more elegant way for resolving this please.

Thanks and best regards, Staas.

To leave out the first page, you could try this:
Code:
awk 'NR>1' RS='\f' infile
