enable bold fonts in vim

Hello,

I installed gvim and vim on my xubuntu. The colorscheme in gvim and vim is the same - "default". The problem is the fonts syntaxing in gvim ex : bool, return keywords (C++) are all bold in the gvim but not in vim.

I would really like to see the same (bold thing) in vim as well.

Any tips ?

echo $TERM returns xterm.

Try this on the vim editor :syn on. May be syntax highlight is turned off.
