problem in dollar substitution

Hi,

I have a problem in dollar substitution:-
$ csv1="first_csv"
$ csvnumber=1
$ echo {csv$csvnumber}
{csv1}
$ echo "${csv$csvnumber}"
bad substitution

I want first_csv...why is it not working
