log file append
hi,

I am working on perl script, printing useful info from script and while running appending to one file to maintain log. Log generates but at the end of the script and not continuously. I cant monitor whats happening....

Any specific reason?

Maybe output redirection helps you?

This is also not working... Problem is not is redirection, there must be some another thing which resists functionality

How do you print the "useful information"? Meaning, which Perl function do you use, are you using shell redirection, ...

Can you post what part of your script is not working as expected? Also, have you tried to create a simple script where you were supposed to face the same problem?
If yes, you can post the simple script, the output you have and the disired output.

Haven't tried with sample script... will make one small script with my functionality, will let you know once done
