sorry... SmilieSmilieSmilie

I'm using an xml file.

My wish is:

delete all text before tag <prodotti>
delete all text after tag end </prodotti>
substitute in result all cr/lf with blank

How does it work ?

PS many thanks to rdcwayx. It works perfectly.

Final version will be:

awk '/<prodotti>/,/<\/prodotti>/' orig.xml |tr -d "\n" > dest.xml

(substituted blank char with empty)
