Question want to send mail if all values in second field are zero

I have tried

File contents are:
Code:
57272 79
56767 0
57575 3
58888 4
53030 23
54242 0
56060 4

Code:
awk 'BEGIN { fine = "0" }
{ if ( $2 != "0" ) { exit; } }
END { print $0 | mailx -s "subject goes here" x@y.z }' $inFile

But getting some output and mail is sent
And i want mail will be sent if all fields are 0(zero)
Somewhere above there is something wrong

Consider the following approach:
Code:
export fld2zero=TRUE
cat your_orig_file | while read fld1 fld2
do
   if [ $fld2 -ne 0 ]
   then
      export fld2zero=FALSE
      mailx -s "Subject goes here" someone@someplace.com < your_orig_file
      break
   fi
done

Edit: I see what you are trying to do ... please ignore above will not help in such a case

Try:
Code:
awk '$2 != "0" {f=1} END{if(!f){system("mailx ....")}' $inFile

may be:

Code:
awk '$2==0 {cnt++} END{if(cnt==NR){exit 0} else exit 1}' file && mailx -s 'subject' name@domain.z < file

Code:
#!/bin/bash
while read A A
do  (($A)) && exit
done <infile
mailx -s "Subject goes here" someone@someplace.com < infile
