CRON: Script not getting invoked

Hi,
I see no issues with the creation using redirection symbol. My only issue as i Stated earlier is when crontab is creating the cron file in /var/apool/cron/crontabs, there the <<username>> file has the following permission: -r--------. Is this the issue ?

Got it ! I had to set the Db path in the script if I am using cron using the EXPORT command. It worked ! Thx for all your suggestions.

why exactly do you need to 'EXPORT'?

Even I have a doubt here. Although I am setting the absolute path in the Cron script, why should I need to call EXPORT. But, calling EXPORT solves my issue !
