today i encounter one weird problem.
I tried to do the sftp of one file from one server to another and try to load that file in some datawarehouse with a informatica(extraction, tranformation and loading tool) . But the tool is rejecting all
later i found that there is some problem in the character's of the original file and sftp-ed file(new file).

i checked the locale -a in both the machine and found that
en_US, en_US.UTF-8
these two locale are not present
so i want to ask is it bcoz of these locale that the origianal and sfted file
having the differnce and if yes
then how can i sftp the file so it would consider these locale
