Need help with sort
hi all,
i have a file that contains data like this
ab1234
ab709
ab12
ab347 etc..
i have to sort them and the desired output should be like this
ab12
ab347
ab709
ab1234
.. if i perform ascii sort alone then i am not getting it in this format, neither does sorting it numerically. can some one please help me out with this?

Alternate to sort --random-sort
