Bash Shell che comunicano

Salve a tutti
Io ho il seguente problema. Da un bash shell lancio un eseguibile (di cui non ho il sorgente) che eseguirà una serie di operazioni aspettando però che l'utente ad ogni passo selezioni le opzioni proposte. Quello che io vorrei fare è automatizzare il tutto, ossia inviare da un'altra shell le risposte in modo che il software sulla prima shell prosegua in automatico.

Qualche idea?
