Bug script help

Hi I have wrote this script that is uncompressing a .z file then renames it and move it to a specific dir. I get an error. I was wondering if someone can help me.

Code:
output_path=/u/rjeadmin/dan/rerun3770
# select chry3770/unknown directory so the compressed file can be uncompressed
dir_chry=/u/rjeadmin/dan/chry3770/unknown
cd ${dir_chry}
good='ls | grep CSGI[9]0[89]\.Z | grep -v CSGI807 | grep -v CSGI908'
for file in ${good}
 do
   seg1='echo ${file} | cut -f1 -d.'
   seg2='echo ${file} | cut -f2 -d.'
   seg3='echo ${file} | cut -f3 -d.'
   newseg3='echo echo ${segB} | sed "s/\#//" | sed "s/$/Z/"'
   oldfile=${seg1}.${seg2}.${seg3}
   newfile=${seg1}.${seg2}.${newseg3}
   uncompress ${file}
   mv ${oldfile} ${output_path}/${newseg3}/${newfile}
   Rc=$?
     if [ "$Rc" -eq 0 ]; then
      echo "Sorry no file present."
     fi
 done
end

this is the error I get.

Code:
good='ls | grep CSGI[9]0[89]\.Z | grep -v CSGI807 | grep -v CSGI908'

this one should be something like this:

Code:
good=$(ls | grep CSGI[9]0[89]\.Z | grep -v CSGI807 | grep -v CSGI908)
