Error Find Format Output

Hi,

I wanna format the output in find to be like this :

NUM SIZE TYPE NAME
1 942080 DIR ./a/b/CaChE.xyz
2 888832 FIC ./a/b/core.1234
3 389120 FIC ./a/b/core.12
4 229376 FIC ./xxx/xyz.bak.cache

I don't know if its possible.

For example: find . -name \*.bak -o -name \*.bkp ; the output should appear like that in columns.
Anyone have an idea ?

PS: I have another doubt, maybe a newbie question, how can i make a info page for my scipt. I mean when you type find --help it gives you all the information about the script or info help, can i do that too?

Thanks

MySQL

you can try something like this..

Code:
find . -name \*.bak -o -name \*.bkp -ls -long|awk 'BEGIN{print "NUM SIZE TYPE NAME"}{print NR" "$2" "$3" "$11}'

for your second question..
you can impliment a small logic like
Code:
if [ "$1" == "--help" ]; then
write any thing you want/or/use here document to print it in well manner
exit
fi
