Date format Coversion.
Hello guys,

I want to convert my date from '2009 02 28' to '28/FEB/2009'.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

If your date comes from the date command try

mydate=$( date "%d/%b/%Y | tr -s '[:lower:]'  '[:upper:]' )

otherwise you can try this:
