multi tasking shell
how to create multi tasking shell in unix..i've no idea about that please send me the some refrence site and books,through that i can create a multi tasking shell using c language....pls reply as soon as possible

Hi prashant0903, please create a new thread for new topics. I have split your post from the old thread and created a new thread.
Now, about your question. I doubt if you can get a book that tells you how to write a multitasking shell. You can search for "write your own shell" on google and check some of the sites.
Remember, writing your own shell will require a bit of expertise in C, and an understanding of many concepts in Unix from process control to I/O.
