is that really just the code you have, not sure what i noted is really the problem but looks like you havent close your comment in the first line. Just noted, dont think really if that is the issue as you say that the code works fine on one machine and not on the other.

It's Oracle code - embedded SQL calls that are translated by a precompiler into C.

I work actively in this field, and, no offense to the OP, I do not think he understands this code very well or more correctly the whole business of compiling Oracle code. Pro*C is complaining about an out of place delimiter - }

The problem is the real issue lies probably 170 lines above where the error is reported.
It's possible that one of the external files he's using is different from what he used elsewhere. He needs to checksum everything that's being included, comapre checksums to the old system, and be sure the code he has is known to work under the the release of Oracle - like its 9.2.0.4.0 on both the old box an the new box.

This is not an issue that amenable to remote-control diagnosis. There are literally dozens of things that can cause this problem.
