eclipse console
I have a C program which ends when user types ctrl-c. this program works fine from terminal but when i launch it from eclipse i can't terminate it correctly with ctrl-c because the console does not read the ctrl-c input command. Can anyone help me??

Try Ctrl-D which translates to EOF.

A EOF (CTRL-D) isn't quite the same as a SIGINT (CTRL-C). It's even useless if the application is intended as a running in the background (eg a daemon) and thus won't read that EOF.

Open a console, enter 'ps -aux | grep <name of you application>'. The first number is the PID (Process ID) of your application. Use that when you enter 'kill -INT <PID>'

That kill procedure will certainly terminate the application albeit abnormally and my suggestion was about exiting the application gracefully. You do have a point though about a bg process but in that case even Ctrl-C will not work. Anyways can you post the stty settings of your session...
