DESCRIPTION
hal-is-caller-privileged determines if a specific caller is privileged for a given PolicyKit action on given device. For more information
about both the big picture, HAL and PolicyKit , refer to the HAL spec (which can be found in /usr/local/share/doc/hal/spec/hal-spec.html
depending on the distribution) and also the PolicyKit documentation.

--action
PolicyKit action to check for.
--caller
The unique D-Bus name on the system bus of the caller.
--help Print out usage.

If an error occurs this program exits with a non-zero exit code. Otherwise the textual reply will be printed on stdout and this program

What is the point of this? Whenever I close my shell it appends to the history file without adding this. I have never seen it overwrite my history file.
# When the shell exits, append to the history file instead of overwriting it
