The Evince Document Viewer application for GNOME desktop environment
SYNTAX
evince [--help] [--usage] [--page-label=<label>] [--quit] [filename(s)...]
DESCRIPTION
evince
Evince is a document viewer capable of displaying multiple and single page document formats like PDF and Postscript. For more general
information about Evince please visit our website at http://www.gnome.org/projects/evince/
OPTIONS --help Prints the command line options.
--page-label=label
You can pass a page label or page number here, this page will be selected in the document if it exists.
filename(s)...
Specifies the file to open when Evince starts. If this is not specified, Evince will open a blank window. Multiple files can be
loaded if they are separated by spaces. Evince also supports handling of remote files. For example, you can pass the location on
the web or load a file from a FTP server, like "ftp://adobe.com/sample.pdf".

Hey all,
I've been trying to find a document. The document is a list of all supported hardware that Solaris 7 supports. If anyone knows where this can be found thx in advanced. I've tried looking through the docs.sun.com site and can't find what I am after.

I tried to open the man page of sh and piped to `pg`. Normally while reading a file page by page using `pg`, if we wanna quit at the middle of file, we give "q" near the colon mode.
Ex1: $cat file1 | pg
hi
how
r
u
: (page1) now press "return key", it will go to next page
yes

At the command line, If I type:
%dtpad filename &
It opens up a blank dtpad window, just as if I typed:
%dtpad &
And no difference if I give it the pathname, such as:
%dtpad /here/there/filename &
No issues with passing a filename using vi, xedit, emacs, etc...

I posted this in the Advanced forum, thought I'd try it here as well...

It just opens up a blank dtpad window (and no error is returned), just as if I typed:
%dtpad &
